A new story idea forms

jana_denardoI'm a fan of abandoned places. Always have been. In recent years I've gotten too...let's just say 'not so limber' and don't go exploring like I used to. Luckily the young and daring still do it and I belong to two websites that post abandoned places and urban exploration (I only do the outside of place these days).
I was thinking about doing a story with a younger explorer who sees something in his photos that shouldn't be there. Something that eventually gets called into this plane of existence. I'm not sure how/what yet but I thought that could be interesting. Granted I need a new idea like I need shot. It would be nice to finish something older first.
