When I'm not busy writing, I'm busy doing crafty things like learning how to dye eggs with natural dyes (beets - brown, red cabbage -blue)

How can RED cabbage make BLUE eggs?

the color is heat sensitive. the red cabbage itself becomes a bluish=purple when boiled.

I'm still working out how red liquid (beets) turned these eggs brown. could have something to do with the aluminium can
