Time is always against me

That and I waste it but no matter how you look at it, I knew I would run into the wall when it came to time to edit my scarred soldier story. There is so much more i want to do with it and I may end up not even trying to send it for the anthology and hope they think it's super special (because i'm pretty sure it's over word count already) but I don't want to just let the deadline slip so I've sent it off to one of my first readers so she could look at what is there and how its flowing so I can go back and fix it as I go. I got that back already so at least that's ready for me. I appreciate that.

I have an older vampire story to edit through as well. I need another three day weekend where I don't have to do actual work.

Even looking at the edits and knowing I have a lot of work to do doesn't diminish my enjoyment of this story. I think it's good.

thank you very much. I am making progress. I'm very confident I'll be able to sell the story as a novella so I'm not even stressing about it being too long or the deadline. I'm sure I'll find the story a home.
