Wishing all my friends who celebrate it,a wonderful, stress free Thanksgiving.

We're using an infra-red oven to cook ours. Dad has a new toy....



And a holiday unrelated question for you. My beta thought maybe two men in a committed relationship would no longer use a condom. Would that through you in a story? Personally I can see it either way (Heck I've known people gay and het who traded HIV lab reports before taking that step) but I wanted to get a feel for what others thought. I don't care if the condom has to go (Trestan would probably be very happy).

I don't think condoms are even a possibility for my two. On the other hand, they have some pretty interesting, um, penis adornments to play with (not that they would--the "toys" do not look at all anus-friendly to me). I would say, though, that two certified HIV-free men in a committed, guaranteed monogamous relationship would probably dispense with the condoms at some point, or at least get lazy about using them.

I do know condoms date back a long time. that said, prior to HIV most gay men didn't wear them (points to my demon hunters) and yes yours definitely would not.

Not being gay man, my opinion is of course unjustified. However, I have read a number of stories, that seem to be by gay men, where as soon as the relationship is committed, out come the tests and off go the condoms. However, I would consider a few other factors in making the decision. Not everyone wants to deal with the mess and dripping of not using a condom (that's two aspects right there if you think about it right). The men may prefer the feel with a condom (though I suppose that's a bit unusual). So it seems to me it would be a personal decision on the part of the guys.

I wouldn't think they'd bother with condoms at that point, at least most of the time ... but then, I can't speak from that, um, direction.
