halfway there

I'm at the halfway point. They've just reached their destination. At some point I need to bring the villains back in.

I just hope I don't run out of steam. I'm getting ill. I can feel my body fighting but I'm diabetic and asthmatic and this is an upper respiratory thing. I don't hold out too much hope. Fighting this infection has driven my sugar up to nearly 00. I will write sick. It will probably suck but still.

I'm surprised at the subtle romance things working their way into this. I'm not that good with romance (a detriment to an erotica writer for sure)

I'm still 1000 words away from the halfway point.
My story is supposed to be romance, too, but I don't think I'm doing it right. Well, perhaps the new character I introduced today will help.

Mine isn't supposed to be a romance at all. That's part of the problem. I do as little romance as I can get away with.
