driving gets the muse going

I've returned home after a 2 week convalescence at my parents post surgery. the long drive was good for me. For one, my brain rediscovered my idea for the vacation story that I'm using a name I got from the helpthesouth bid. This one can be relatively short and they're staying in haunted hotels, successfully finding they want and oh yeah, sex.

I did poke around sites looking at Pittsburgh history since I wasn't up for a trip to the history center. The celibate nature of the Harmonites in Old Economy will make for a good backdrop. this would only be 25 years after their dissolution but some hold out could be the root of the problem so yay for a plot for the holiday story.


now to figure out how to expand Riding with strangers. i keep rereading but get so caught up i forget to make notes.

on a down note I just noticed mysterious spirit only has one review (stars only) on goodreads and it's a 2. sigh. I've also noticed the review copies of various things sent out didn't garner reviews.

yeah I didn't expect many on a short story but none would be better than a 2 star. oh well. can't please them all
