I'm still trying to catch my balance. I had a blast weekend being one of the DSP authors at Raleigh's Animazement. It was a very good experience and a nice place to wet my toes in the waters of being an author signing books. It'll probably be one of the biggest things I do this summer!

I'm turning over in my head, doing the preliminary research to try a Dreamspun Desire even though contemporaries aren't my favorite genre. I was challenged to stretch myself so I'll give it a try. It could be fun or it could be something I set aside. If nothing else I should be able to get something out of this.

I've reread the bit I have started for the SF short story and I would like to write that again.

I've kept a slow progress on Behind Blue Eyes. I'm happy of that at least.

I've come across a Carina press open call for shifter novellas. I do have the long short story set in Deadwood. I'm not sure it has 10K more in it. I'll have to really sit down and consider it.

And I've made progress with Cassdaga Nights which DESPERATELY needs a better title. I know what I need to do with it but time is a factor.

I'm still waiting to hear back about my Weird West story and Blood Red Roulette. Oh the waiting hurts.

A huge factor because a) trying to clean this place up and throw out tons of stuff from the hoard b) will going to visit the parents c) need to write up two scientific papers d) rework two classes, if not three

I think one thing I have to commit to is to get off facebook and give myself at least a half hour internet free every day or I'll completely derail.
