I'll be out most of the day at the Independent Bookstore celebration (I had to leave the state for this... Ah Appalachia).

Still taking this from Behind Blue Eyes Still working out what the setting for this scene looks like. I'm torn between something warm and traditional or ultra modern like this photo kaleos bed_zpssznzuajn.jpg Kaleo would be overwhelmed by either.

I'm continuing this almost directly from the one from last week (which you can find here.). Aneurin has shut off the sexual controller that's been hooked into Kaleo's nervous system after the cat was using it as a play toy. It was hard to find 6 sentences that made any sense...

“I really am sorry.” Aneurin sounded like a recording on an infinite loop adding to Kaleo's growing rage.

“What does it matter? This is all I'm good for now. Turn the thing back on if you want.” Kaleo refused to look at the man and let Aneurin see the embarrassment and self-loathing he felt.

“It matters.”

If you'd like to play along, Rainbow Snippets is a Facebook community where we post up 6 sentences of one of our LGBT stories every Saturday. It's been fun and you can find it here. Be sure to check out all the offers! It's been a great supportive group!

I feel so sorry for Kaleo. Not a position anyone would want to find themselves in.

Thanks. Those two words really start the rest of Kaleo's journey from victim to advocate.

Great! It's amazing how much power and meaning there can be in two simple words.

So true. I'm working on that scene now where Kaleo first talks to the people who want to put an end to the industry (everyone still thinks the Toys are voluntary well trained courtesans).

Good for him. Kaleo is really biting his thumb at the doll makers who thought they'd got him. Give em hell! I love this character

(I'm smirking over the description of it being used like a cat's toy!)
