100 things #26 - author chats.
These things make me nervous. I can't even tell you why. So far all my chatting has been online and for the love of god ALL my jobs have been me talking to people often in large groups. There isn't much shy about me. I think the main difference here is that in my other jobs I'm in a position of power and very few question me or give me crap. (not that they couldn't but in general they do not).
I've seen goodreads author chats and they've all mostly been perfectly civil. I have no reason to suspect this will be anything different. I've done other promotional chats before with Dreamspinner and Circlet but never on my own. This is going to be interesting.
If nothing else, I hope SOMEONE shows up and says hi. I'm giving away a copy of my novella The Darkest Midnight in December So if you have a goodreads account, come on and join me HERE from 1- 6 pm est
