Slowly starting up and thoughts on piracy
Jan. 13th, 2011 10:33 amSo now both Dreamspinner and
circletpress have open call anthologies that are luring me away from my novel. Ah well, always good to knock off a short story or six to keep your hand in the game. The Heaven or hell challenge from Circlet is already writing itself quickly. It's different than my usual style so I'm a little nervous about it.

on the true cost to the artists when you illegally download
and why it's not available here isn't a justification
Honestly, I'm not sure what more can be done to stop this from happening. As long as someone is able to digitize a story (and since I work almost exclusively in epublishing this is already done for them) it can be taken with ease and there will always be those who think it's worth the risk to get it for free.
