i've been taking a bit of a break

I burned out writing sex. Seriously. THings were starting to be well flat, no pun intended. It was all blending together. I have other types of writing I want to do and I've been concentrating on that.

Not that I'm saying I'll never write any again. No, hardly that. I need to get out and look at my failed projects, see what I can do to make them better and try again. Iknow one failed because it didn't have enough sex (well having more sex at the beginning just wouldn't work with this story) so I need to look into other publishers for that novella and maybe expand it a bit. The ending was rushed to meet Samhain's deadline. Others I'm already planning to market elsewhere. I need to trim 800 words from one to make the cut.

So I'm not dead, just hibernating a little. I need to get back to piddling with the erotica mystery in Florida. They need to go back to Cassadaga which isn't ANYWHERE near Miami no matter what the tv show The Glades wants you to believe.
