100 Things #72 A surfeit of good things

I have a novel coming out soon. I wish that I was more ready. I also wish I wasn't getting so nervous about it. I am wondering about my cover art. I have yet to see it. It should be released in 3 weeks. I still don't have a date either. I am going to send a query to the art department. I know it's been the holidays (though I had to work all through it on this novel). I don't want to be obnoxious about it but I think at this stage (since it started over two months ago) a query isn't out of line.

I also go the promotional and editorial package for my novella today(and it's not even due until the end of May beginning of June. I'm pretty excited since I love steampunk and mysteries so I hope others like my take on it. Of course I'm not too thrilled about what comes next because it's work. Necessary work but still.

Here's hoping for good things for both.

Yeah it was even worse than I thought. When I did a search on the emails, it was october 21st for last date of contact. I sent the query.

I need to figure out who to ask about the publication date.
