I'm on target and I can't complain much. I am getting side tracked by research. ALL the time. I'm trying to keep a tight rein on that one. It could derail me.

Right now I need to look up symbols. I want the victims to have some kind of mark on them something that would symbolize Mammon but I'm not finding what I need. I know it's out there but I haven't found any thing that makes me go 'wow, that's it!'

How is everyone else doing ?

I'm doing all right, but I just HAD to make my heroine Hopi. There's next to NOTHING available online about their language and cultures other than "Buy the book! Only $750 at Amazon!" ARGH. Every other Southwestern tribe had places where you can at least get a list of commonly used words...

But on the plus side, 12,121 words as of this morning.

Can she be Navajo? And really? I mean I found stuff on the Ute for that Christmas story I sold and I would have thought them more obscure. How odd.

That's doing well. I fell just shy of 12K last night

I considered it, but she's pretty adamant. ("Navajo are invaders.") All I wanted was like the name for "grandmother" and "coyote," which you'd think would be pretty common, but I couldn't find them.

I haven't written a word this evening. I have to get to work!
