Rainbow Snippets

I'm so not ready for the semester to start. It's going to be a horribly sad semester, knowing a good chunk of us are gone or will be by the end of the year. It's already killing my creativity.

I'm picking up with These Haunted Hills right where I left off with Brendan ghost hunting with Josh and Cassia and Josh thinking about asking Brendan out. However....

But he couldn’t just say that. If Brendan didn’t feel the same way he’d embarrass himself and potentially lose this time with Brendan. Worse, he’d end up feeling like he tried to take advantage of an emotionally fragile man. He simply couldn’t do that and reality sucked.

“Think we’ve done enough?” he called to Cassia, not sure why he wanted to end it now because what came next might be awkward. If Brendan wanted to look at the evidence now, he wouldn’t get home until very late and Josh wasn’t sure he wanted Brendan driving the poorly marked country roads, most of which were unlit, while exhausted.
