Need to catch my breath

RL has been hectic. I'm not getting anywhere near the amount of writing done that I want to. I've only been able to squeeze out dribbles here and there on Riding with Strangers but I've been good to my word. I've not been swept up by any open calls. I really want to get the novel done. I can't really afford any more distractions.

The book launch is tomorrow, so yay. I've worked to get my goodreads author profile set up. Thanks rachel_west for the how-to. I appreciate it. It was neat seeing there are three books already set up there. Well two books and a short story, Mysterious Spirit. No reviews for that one (unsurprising being a stand-alone short) but a couple people have it marked as to-read and that alone makes me happy.

But more seriously I might be putting up the progress bars for Riding. I need to keep myself accountable and that helps. Seeing failure makes me want to succeed more. I can finish this story. I'm even confident I can market it. Now if I only didn't need sleep or there were more hours in a day.
