27. Along similar lines, do appearances play a big role in your stories? Tell us about them, or if not, how you go about designing your characters.

Oh yes, appearances do play a role in my stories. I have to know what my characters look like. I try to know something about their surroundings even though I'm not so good at describing them. I do put planning into eye color, hair color etc.
